This Year’s Productions
Our seniors and juniors have begun rehearsals for the fall productions of Puffs and the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna in the Tropics by Nilo Cruz. Both productions promise to showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our students.
A Great Start with 75 Theatre Students!
August kicked off with enthusiasm as we welcomed 75 theatre students, including the addition of our new teacher, Aubrey Hicks. We are excited to see the creative energy and growth that this diverse group will bring to our department.
Theatre Santa Fe – Theatre Walk
We are proud to participate in the annual Theatre Santa Fe Theatre Walk on Saturday, September 21st from 1 to 4:30 pm at the Outlet Mall on Cerrillos Road. Our students will be presenting work from the department, offering a glimpse into the dynamic performances we are developing this year.
Shayla Patton’s Recent Performances and Studies
Shayla Patton recently participated in a staged reading of Seen Unseen: Being Black in Santa Fe at the Jean Cocteau Cinema and 1520. This summer, Shayla also traveled to the Congo, where she immersed herself in the study of Congolese dance, drumming, and culture, further enriching her artistic journey.
